Point Clare Public School is celebrating Book Week with a variety of activities.
The public school will be visited by two illustrators in addition to holding a Book Character Parade, where students can dress up as a book character.
A photo booth will be run by year six, allowing students the opportunity to be photographed with friends in their book character costumes.
A continuing cake competition will be held and a new event, “The McHughie Prize”, will commence. The McHughie, named in memory of former librarian, Ms Rebecca McHugh, involves students presenting an A4 sized artwork of a book character.
