A 19-year-old man has died from falling from a balcony at the Crown Plaza, Terrigal, on Saturday, August 16.
At about 9:30pm, police were called to the hotel after reports of an unconscious man near the pool.
Officers located Jarrod Samson-Hills, of Blaxland in the Blue Mountains, with serious head and internal injuries.
He was taken by Ambulance Paramedics to Gosford Hospital before being flown to Royal North Shore Hospital, where he later died.
It’s believed he fell from a sixth floor balcony.
Police from Brisbane Water Local Area Command established a crime scene at the hotel, which was examined by specialist forensic officers.
Detectives have commenced inquiries and are speaking with witnesses to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident.
Among the lines of inquiry being followed is possible misadventure.
