The Central Coast Bush Dance and Music Association will hold a Jane Austen themed night at the East Gosford Progress Hall on Saturday, July 12.
The programme of dances will include ‘Sellenger’s Round’, several from the Playford collections published in the 17th century, including ‘Hole in the Wall’ and some celebrated in the BBC Jane Austen television series such as ‘Grimstock’, ‘Mr Beveridge’s Maggot’ and ‘The Comical Fellow’ will be on offer. Should people wish to practice prior to the event, dances are held at the Kariong Progress Hall on Friday evenings.
