The dinosaurs will be back at the Australian Reptile Park from Boxing Day to January 28.
Back by popular demand, the dinosaur stars of Jurassic Zoo, the Park’s beloved event, will return for a special appearance every day during the school holidays.
Dinosaurs will be on the loose, roaming throughout the Park on their daily walks.
The mighty Tyrannosaurs Rex, formidable Indoraptor and a Pachycephalosaurus will captivate audiences with their realistic movements and awe-inspiring size.
These 8-foot-high animatronic dinosaurs will take daily walks, allowing both kids and adults to interact with them and truly immerse themselves in a land before time.
While the animatronic dinosaurs steal the show, the Australian Reptile Park has its own “living dinosaur” that visitors can observe in action.
Elvis, the iconic saltwater crocodile, will showcase his prehistoric prowess during his 1.30pm show.
As one of the crankiest crocs in Australia, Elvis will leave spectators in awe as they witness the strength of his enormous snapping jaws.
Additionally, the Park’s resident Komodo dragons, Kraken and Daenerys, will delight visitors as they roam the park every morning on their daily walk.
Park Director Liz Gabriel said the dinosaurs are always a big attraction.
“The kids just love them,” she said.
Budding paleontologists can awaken awaken their inner explorer with the Dino Dig, offering visitors a unique opportunity to unearth prehistoric fossils, while Dino HQ offers a space for creativity with engaging dinosaur-themed activities tailored for all ages.
Visitors, irrespective of age, can partake in the daily Dino Dance Party at 1pm and explore the Adventure Trail to encounter some of the planet’s most ancient creatures, including the cassowary, the Galapagos tortoise, striking dinosaur statues and more.
“In addition to their appearances in the Park throughout the weekend, our infamous dinosaurs will also be joining in on our popular 1:45pm alligator photo session, providing visitors with an unforgettable photo opportunity,” Gabriel said.
