Treat Dad to a night of fine music on Saturday, September 3, when Eric Grothe and the Gurus play at the ILya Restaurant at Erina from 5-9pm.
The rock party covers band had its origins in Sydney bands Three Day Grothe and Dave Gleeson and the Stilsons and formed in 2007.
It has featured such guest vocalists as Dave Gleeson of The Screaming Jets, John Stevens of Noiseworks, Sarah McLeod of The Superjesus and Marc Gable of Choirboys.
Fronting the six-piece band is international rugby league player Eric Grothe on guitar and lead vocals.
Other band members are Patrick Hopkins on drums and vocals, Dave Cunningham on bass and vocals and Ted Brennan on guitar and vocals.
Also on the bill will be Muma Janes Blues Band and Elias and JJ
