Year one students from Narara Public School will be undertaking the Family ACTIVation Pack initiative to help children and parents get healthy and active.
The ACTIVation Pack is designed to help parents/ carers get active with their children by playing quick, easy and fun games at home that reinforce the fundamental movement skills already being learnt at school.
There are all sorts of tips, ideas and guides for getting active including putting together an active home entertainment centre.
This resource has been developed by the Central Coast Local Health District and is supported by the NSW Department of Education and Training.
4000 family ACTIVation Packs are being distributed to primary schools on the Coast during this term.
