State Government invests $50,000 in live theatre program

Creative Director Glitta Supernova and Organisation Director Juan Iocco

The Naughty Noodle Fun Haus has received $50,000 to support its live theatre program through a new state-wide arts and cultural program.

The organisation celebrated its third birthday with the news it was one of 15 successful multi arts organisations in the NSW Government’s Create 2021/22 Arts and Cultural Funding Program.

“We got the call from Adam Crouch in parliament after a very long week of Coastal Twist festival planning and
we were absolutely thrilled,” Co-chair of the organisation, Juan Iocco, said.

“The funds will go directly into delivering targeted creative programs across 2022 which are leveraging the unique capacity of the arts to inspire, inform, promote, and contribute to change at all levels.”

Creative Director, Glitta Supernova, said the funding has come at the right time after three years of continued growth.

“I am excited by what this money will make room for in the Naughty Noodles growth and dream factory,”

“We have never had more support and partnering from local community and local businesses and with arts and culture, visitors to the region [are] now able to be tracked as a new tourism product takes shape.

“This support enables Naughty Noodle to further come into its own and I am excited by the future and the activations ahead and the social, entertainment and economic magic that can be created for the Coast.”
