The Brisbane Water Oyster Festival will be celebrating its 25th anniversary when it returns on Sunday, November 9, at Lions Park Woy Woy.
“The Brisbane Water Oyster Festival is one the longest running community events on the Central Coast,” Peninsula Chamber President Matthew Wales said.
“As a local business organisation, we are very proud to have provided this free iconic community event for 25 years from humble beginnings at Woy Woy waterfront in 2000.
“Now it’s all systems go for another great year of oysters, food, wine and entertainment.”
PWP Marketing and Events will once again organise the event and is calling on stallholders to take up sites.

“The entertainment will be spectacular, with the day kicking off at 10am with Disco to Retro, Jellybean Jam,” Wales said.
“There will be fabulous 1960s rock and roll, boogie woogie, blues and swing with Swift Kick.
“It promises to be a lively day of entertainment”.
There will be more than 100 stalls throughout the street and carpark including food, chilled wines and cocktails plus the famous Six Strings Brewing Company cold ales.
The famous Sydney Rocks will be highlighted with the How Many Oysters Can You Eat in 30 Seconds competition live on stage and local oyster farmers selling their product.
