Boost for Lake Haven Renal Unit

Members of the Wyong Masonic Club with renal unit staff

The Order of the Amaranth – Wyong Masonic Club – has donated $6,000 to the Lake Haven Renal Unit.

The Masonic Club’s Royal Matron Anne Almond said members were pleased to be able to make the contribution.

“This donation is part of our commitment to support local services that make a difference to the community, like the Lake Haven Renal Unit,” she said.

“One of our long-time members attends the unit to receive dialysis, which makes it even more special to be able to give back to the unit.”

Nurse Unit Manager of Lake Haven Renal Unit Jodie Lanci attended the Masons’ recent Annual Meeting to accept the donation which she said was very much appreciated by both staff and patients.

“These funds will help the unit continue to provide and enhance medical and therapeutic equipment used in the care we provide for patients,” she said.

“We’re extremely grateful to the Order of the Amaranth – Wyong Masonic Club for their generosity.”
