Westpac rescue helicopter was called to an emergency in the Forresters Beach/Wamberal area on Tuesday, April 15, to assist in the search for a person in the water.
The chopper was called in following reports that a person was in difficulty in the water after coming off a surf ski.
After locating the person, then successfully winching them on board, the rescue helicopter flew to Terrigal Haven to land and meet up with NSW Ambulance paramedics.
No serious injuries were reported.
