It’s great to see stores and services opening up in Lone Pine Plaza at Umina Beach, however road safety continues to be a concern for those visiting the centre by car.
With minimal signage and an unclear right of way, the plaza parking lot is dangerous and likely to cause repeated damage to vehicles.
At the minimum, the entrance on Lone Pine Ave should have a concrete separator at kerb height to reduce the likelihood of collision and street-facing signage installed identifying the driveway as a two-way entrance.
Let’s keep everyone safe while enjoying the new space.
