The Rhythm Hut Gosford will host a warm up party featuring the acts scheduled to play at the returning Narara Music Festival.
A long-dormant event, the Narara Music Festival, is returning in 2017, bringing to an end a 33-year hiatus.
The original Narara Music Festival events burned brightly and quickly, taking over the Central Coast locality of Somersby more than 30 years ago, in 1983 and 1984, with legendary Aussie rock acts such as The Angels, Cold Chisel, INXS, Hoodoo Gurus and many more.
The new wave of Narara Music Festival is set to cement its spot in years to come as another legendary Australian rock festival.
The official Narara Music Festival warm up party will bring a little entrée of two of the acts playing at the festival in May, with Dos Enos and Bones Jones and the Skeletones, as well as a sweet set of music from Coastie rockers RedHook.
Not only will you be treated to three fantastic bands, you will be able to buy local’s tickets for Narara 2017 on the night at the reduced price of $75 for a camping ticket.
Dos Enos describe themselves as a sprinkle of dirt, a swirl of psych, pinch of growl and a slither of blues, and all of those ingredients add up to one of the most exciting bands to come from the NSW South Coast.
A fantastic live band, Dos Enos will be closing out the warm up party with their usual high energy set.
Newcastle’s Bones Jones and the Skeletones are a visual and musical feast.
With their mix of dirty grooves, shredding guitar and tequila soaked harmonies, they’ll be a hit at Narara 2017 and a hot introduction at our warm up party.
Hailing from the Coast, RedHook are a band to be watched in each and every way.
With their mix of punk rock, led by the striking Emmy Mack, they will be the perfect band to kick-start our party!
