For the first time since the 1970s, the Wyong Roos will feature in rugby league finals in six senior tackle grades across the Newcastle and Central Coast competitions.
The Roos will feature in the Newcastle competition in the Denton Cup first grade and under-19s series.
In the Central Coast competition they will be featured in first grade, reserve grade, open age and women’s tackle finals.
It is believed this is the first time a Central Coast club has figured in as many play-off series in senior tackle rugby league across the two zones.
Wyong Roos Head of Rugby League Craig Sandercock said it was a massive achievement for the club in having such a strong showing in the semis.
“It reflects a great combined effort and commitment of all players, our staff and our great supporters,” he said.
“We would like to urge everyone to get behind all the teams in wishing them every success for the challenges on the field over the next few weeks.”
