New trains are too cold

I travel on the new trains daily from Woy Woy to Central and vice versa.

I love the new trains apart from (the fact) they are absolutely freezing.

I bought a thermometer after many conversations with fellow passengers, friends and family who also commute and it said it was as low as 16 degrees Celsius, with a top of 18 degrees.

I have spoken with the guard who said it’s all automated, but it is freezing and I’ve tried many carriages.

It works like hospitals I should imagine, keeps
    infections transfer down .
Keep a light cardigan with you.

  2. I agree. I caught one last week and shivered all the way to Central. It was an older train on the way home and was far more pleasant.

  3. Also agree. I’m in one right now, wearing 3 layers and freezing! It must be wasting so much electricity air-conditioning it to this extent.
