Crash unit investigates Budgewoi collision

Tuggerah Lakes Police established a crime scene at a two-vehicle crash at Budgewoi on April 18 and the Crash Investigation Unit was called in to examine the site.

A woman was critically injured in the crash along Budgewoi Rd at about 6.45pm on Friday, April 18.

NSW Ambulance paramedics at the scene treated the 53-year-old male driver of one vehicle and his two passengers, a 47-year-old man and a woman in her 50s.

The driver was airlifted to Royal North Shore Hospital in a stable condition and the other man was taken by road to John Hunter Hospital with minor injuries.

The woman was airlifted to John Hunter Hospital in a critical but stable condition.

A 64-year-old woman who was the driver and sole occupant of the second vehicle was also taken to John Hunter Hospital by road in a stable condition.
