Mr Potato tour heads to Central Coast

Mr Potato, the healthy fast-food outlet that is redefining fast-food in Australia, has announced the Mr Potato Australian Tour – a six-month adventure to bring great food and create a meaningful impact to communities across the country.

From March to September 2025, Mr Potato founders Jess Davis and Tyson Hoffmann, the dynamic husband-and-wife duo behind the cult brand and their team, will take their first Mr Potato food truck on an extraordinary journey across Australia.

The tour will kick off in Sydney on March 15 where they will visit a number of popular Sydney suburbs before hitting the road visiting the Central Coast, Northern NSW, Queensland, the Northern Territory, South Australia, Victoria, Tasmania, and beyond.

The couple will swap their corporate lifestyle for the countryside, immersing themselves in local communities, sharing their passion for healthy eating and giving back to local charities.

They are also aiming to break the Guinness World Record for the longest distance travelled by a food truck on a single road trip – an audacious challenge that will add an exciting new dimension to their journey.

“We wanted to find a way to truly connect with people from all walks of life across Australia, bring the fun and energy of our brand, and show them exactly what Mr Potato is all about,” founder Davis said.

“The Mr Potato Australian Tour isn’t just about the food – it’s our way of celebrating what it means to be Australian, connecting with communities meaningfully, and giving back while making history along the way.”

“Through the tour, we’re on a mission to not only serve great food but also bust the myths about how healthy potatoes are,” Hoffmann said.

“They’re packed with nutrients like vitamin C, potassium and magnesium, which support energy, digestion, and overall health.”

At every stop of the tour, Mr Potato will donate 50% of profits to either a local charity, not-for-profit or a community-based initiative, ensuring the tour makes a lasting impact.

The charities chosen will be based on the unique needs of each town, creating partnerships with grassroots organisations that matter most to locals.

“This tour isn’t just about serving amazing food – it’s about giving back to the communities that welcome us,” Hoffmann said.
