A man has died in hospital following a car crash at Mooney Mooney.
At about 5pm on Saturday, February 8, emergency services were called to Old Pacific Hwy, Mooney Mooney Creek, following reports of a single-vehicle crash.
Officers attached to Brisbane Water Police District arrived to find a car had crashed into an embankment, causing the vehicle to roll onto its roof.
The driver and two passengers were injured and taken to The Royal North Shore Hospital.
Police established a crime scene, with assistance from the Hunter Crash Investigation Unit, and commenced an investigation.
A 77-year-old man involved in the crash died in hospital on Thursday, February 13.
A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
Inquiries into the crash are ongoing.
