I think a key part to remember there wasn’t much information being put out for the public to make an informed decision especially for the no case.

furthermore, state and federal politicians are doing the roll full time and have the benefit of staff and recourses and councillors are only acting in a part time capacity.

it isn’t a committee it’s a level of government representation.

servicing a lot more constituents as a part time roll is not even close to the same as a full time elected state or federal MP with offices and their own staff. The council staff don’t help with correspondence.
