Kevin Brooks said his Ratepayers’ Choice team of independent candidates has received a good reception at pre-poll in Gosford West ward.
Brooks, who heads the group said “Voters are telling us they are tired of paying higher rates for worse services.
“They want a Council that will fix the roads, provide clean water, and treat them properly as customers.
“To do this we need to fix underlying problems in Council management that have festered for too long.
“We are focused on improving accountability, efficiency, productivity and culture within Council.
“We bring a fresh approach having not served on Central Coast Council before.
“But we have relevant experience including my own experience as an elected Council Leader in the UK credited with turning around the finances and performance of a Council over there.”
