Celebrating 60 years of worship at St Luke’s

St Lukes' Anglican Church in Toukley

St Luke’s Anglican Parish of Toukley/Budgewoi will hold a gala fair in the church grounds on May 21 to celebrate its 60th anniversary.

The following day, on Sunday, May 22, there will be a special celebratory service at the church, starting at 10am.

The service will be attended by Bishop Peter and many of the priests who served at the parish throughout the years.

Afterwards, refreshments will be served in the church hall. It will be a chance to renew acquaintances who are travelling from near and far to celebrate the occasion.

St Luke’s, at 332 Main Rd, Toukley, was established in 1962. In 2006, the congregations at St Luke’s and St John’s Anglican Church in Budgewoi united, after the discovery of asbestos rendered the Budgewoi church unsafe.
