Early evening on Thursday, November 11, emergency crews were called to a car accident on the M1 about 100m south of the Tuggerah interchange.
The car had careered off the road, crashing into the median, causing significant damage to the vehicle but no one was injured.
Police, fire crews and ambulance remained at the site until the car was recovered.
