An application to demolish an existing residential building in Umina Beach to make way for a new dwelling has been approved by Council.
The site at 15 Bena Rd currently contains a dwelling and detached garage that will be demolished in order to construct a new single-storey three-bedroom dwelling with attached garage.
The applicant said the proposal will have no effect on the views of neighbouring properties views, nor their visual privacy.
Council said the development was consistent with the desired character of Umina Beach.
No public submissions were received in relation to the proposal.
