Friday Sept 3, 2021: Central Coast Local Health District confirms that eight local residents have tested positive to COVID-19 in the 24 hours to 8pm to Thursday night.
Two of the cases are linked to previously notified cases. One case is linked to a worksite cluster in Sydney. The source of infection for the other five cases is under investigation. Six cases were in the community while infectious.

There have now been 78 local cases of COVID-19 in the Central Coast Local Health District since the start of the current outbreak.

Call to stay vigilant
CCLHD is calling for community vigilance in the following suburbs, where there is mounting evidence of community transmission:
- Charmhaven area including Blue Haven, Charmhaven, Doyalson, Gorokan, Hamlyn Terrace, Kanwal, Lake Haven, San Remo, Wadalba, Warnervale, Wyong
- Bateau Bay area including Blue Bay, Bateau Bay, Killarney Vale, Long Jetty, Shelly Beach, The Entrance, The Entrance North, Toowoon Bay
- Toukley area including Budgewoi, Buff Point, Canton Beach, Halekulani, Magenta, Norah Head, Noraville, Toukley, Tuggerawong, Wyongah, Kanwal, Gorokany, Lake Haven
Residents in all of these suburbs are advised to stay on alert for symptoms, get tested immediately, and isolate even if the mildest of symptoms appear.Symptoms of COVID-19 include a fever, cough, sore/scratchy throat, shortness of breath, runny nose, and loss of taste or smell.
Why are tradesman leaving the central coast for work when there is plenty of work on the central coast
On Thursday, NSW Health reported 2 exposure sites on the Ettalong Beach waterfront at the Box Cafe and the nearby children’s playground. Why aren’t they included in your reporting?
Is this saying that Gosford, The Peninsula and Wyoming don’t need to be vigilant, it’s only the Wyong Shire Suburbs.

Hang onto your hats guys, it looks like you’re in for a long haul with covid-19. For all you people who haven’t been vaccinated yet, get moving before it’s too late. Covid will make you very sick. Stay safe everyone, keep on your masks, stay a safe distance from one another.
Ok I get it. Being stuck in lockdown is tough. Losing a family member or infecting someone you love and subjecting them to an awful death is far worse so wake up coasties. This is not a conspiracy theory, its real, so grow up and get the jab
When will the people responsible for travel stop the large amount of people coming to the coast LGA every weekend. It makes what we do up hear pointless.
Why are the beaches packed and the parks packed if we r in lockdown with more exposure sites and cases growing??
