3 new cases reported

Tuesday August 24, 2021: Three new cases have been reported on the Central Coast today by NSW Health up to the reporting period to 8pm Monday night.

All three cases are linked to previously identified cases. Two cases were in isolation for their entire infectious period. Investigations are continuing into the third case and any new exposure sites will be announced once confirmed.

There have now been 44 local cases of COVID-19 since the start of the current outbreak.

New exposure sites

A number of Central Coast locations have been identified as exposure sites linked to one of yesterday’s confirmed cases.

  • Coles Wyong Village Central Wyong, Corner of Alison Road and Henley Street
    • Sunday 22 August 2021 – 7:05am to 7:30am
    • Friday 20 August 2021 – 9:05pm to 9:15pm

Anyone who travelled on the above train service for more than 30 minutes or attended the venue above on the dates and times listed is a casual contact and must immediately get tested and isolate until a negative result is received.

    The politicians need to stop the spread of this virius it is no help when you have traded peoples travelling in both directions between Sydney and Central Coast also the amount of courier drivers running around where are they coming from
    It appears anyone can arrange a permit as it is quite clear that the term essential worker is not truly identified by Government
