Early on Sunday afternoon, May 16, Rural Fire Brigade crews responded to reports of a gas leak at a private residence in Kangy Angy.
When crews arrived, they found a 45kg LPG gas bottle leaking from a faulty valve.
Using breathing apparatus, crews dispersed the leaking gas, minimising the risk of explosion until the cylinder finished venting.
Crews from Tuggerah and Berkeley Vale Rural Fire Brigades attended the incident, supported by Wyong Operational Support Brigade.
