Police are investigating a reported child approach at Bateau Bay.
At about 8pm on Tuesday, January 19, a 14-year-old girl was walking along Darrin Cls, when an unknown man has approached her from behind.
Police have been told that the man grabbed her and touched her leg before she broke free and ran from the scene.
Officers from Tuggerah Lakes Police District have commenced an investigation into the incident.
