UPDATE: Central Coast Local Health District has informed today that a third local case of COVID-19 has tested positive. The household contact is related to the Avalon cluster.

As this person is an associated household contact with an active case and is already in isolation there is no risk to the community according to Dr Andrew Montague, Chief Executive of CCLHD.

The person remains in self-isolation at home and CCLHD staff conduct daily wellness checks.

More to come.
