A former president of Umina Beach Men’s Bowling Club has been elected as president of Central Coast Past Presidents Association (CCPPA).
Ian Jarratt was confirmed as president at CCPPA’s annual general meeting on October 31.
Jarratt congratulated outgoing president, Larraine Cooper, for presiding over the club for the past two years.
He said one of his key commitments now as president was to encourage more bowlers to join the group after membership had decreased in recent years.
The committee members currently visit local clubs to enjoy a game of bowls, host social functions and hold competitions.
The group now accepts both men and women bowlers and social members.
