The Central Coast Mariners have announced that we will be hosting fireworks at their New Years Eve clash against the Newcastle Jets!
The fireworks being a long-standing tradition in Gosford for over a decade. They have previously been hosted by Council, though budget cuts have prevented the celebrations this year.
CEO Shaun Mielekamp spoke about the importance of being able to give something back to the coast community.
“We’ve got our match against the Newcastle Jets, the big F3 Derby which we are so excited to have but even better – at the end of the match if you’re in the stadium you’ll get a fireworks display. 2020 has been tough for a lot of people, and what better way to celebrate the end of the year than with fireworks in Gosford”
