Students walk 11km on environmental excursion

Stage Two students from Woy Woy South Public School have walked a total of 11 kilometres in an Environmental Walking Excursion on Tuesday, September 1.

Students sighted different birds, sketched a pelican and discussed ecosystems in mangroves.

They estimated how many students could fit around the giant norfolk pine and researched some positive and negative human impact had on the natural environment.

They also got to see a seal at Lions Park.
