Brisbane Water Police District’s Crime Prevention Officer, was at Erina Fair Shopping Centre on June 4 as part of operation Lock-It.
Operation Lock-It is a proactive operation to provide the community with property crime information specifically relating to stolen vehicles and steal from motor vehicle offences.
The officer audited over 300 vehicles locating 40 where items of value were left in clear sight.
Crime Prevention flyers were left to educate community members on property crime strategies.
Brisbane Water Police remind Coasties and visitors to always lockup your vehicles and never leave valuables in clear sight.
