Rescue operation at Fountaindale ends well

A missing person has been found safe and well following a rescue operation at Fountaindale.

Rescue crews and emergency services were called to the rural Central Coast suburb on Saturday June 6, to reports of a missing person.

A large scale operation including the NSW Police, NSW SES Wyong, NSW Rural Fire Service and the Central Coast Volunteer Rescue Squad searched bushland in the area late into the night, with the operation suspended until first light the following morning.

A spokesperson for the Rescue Squad said the person was located a short time later.
