[Forum] Regarding the government’s COVIDSafe app, there certainly was a lot of news about this in the last edition (245).
Now, if only that tracker worked on my old iPhone (as an aged pensioner I certainly cannot afford to replace it), or, for that matter if only it worked properly on iPhones at all.
The clowns who wrote the software had no idea of how the iPhone actually works.
And, if only I can find a mask that will be 10 per cent airtight around the beard that I’ve had since 1975 (hint: they aren’t), and if the ones that are readily available actually work (hint: they have to have a really fine mesh; the dust masks that I usually see simply won’t cut the mustard), but the proper ones aren’t cheap and have to be replaced every couple of hours.
This, by the way, was advice from my GP, not something that I pulled out of the air.
