Central Coast businesses doing it tough due to COVID-19 can now register for free business advice, via to the NSW Government’s Business Connect program.
Parliamentary Secretary for the Central Coast and Member for Terrigal Adam Crouch said business owners could receive expert advice from Business Connect advisors.
“At this critical time for our local economy I would encourage business owners to consider ideas that could help to keep people in jobs and businesses in business,” Mr Crouch said.
“With free advice on offer from experienced advisors, there is every reason for Central Coast business owners to register.”
Member of the Legislative Council Taylor Martin said that small business will be key as NSW charts the road back from the COVID-19 pandemic.
“More than ever we need small businesses to be strong and employing locals following this very serious setback,” Mr Martin said.
Minister for Finance and Small Business Damien Tudehope said the NSW Government was injecting more than $14 million into Business Connect to help small and medium businesses navigate this challenging time.
“As part of this funding boost, we’ve allocated $4.6 million to engage an additional 30 advisors to support businesses on top of $9.8 million to ensure the program continues for another 12 months,” Mr Tudehope said.
The NSW Government’s Business Connect program supports businesses to start, be resilient and grow by providing professional business advice and skills development events.
