Motorists are advised of changed traffic conditions on Macdonalds Road at Lisarow next week as work continues on the Pacific Highway duplication project.
Macdonalds Road will be closed to all through traffic between the Pacific Highway and Tuggerah Street from 7pm to 5am on Wednesday 25 and Thursday 26 March, weather permitting. The road closure is required for utility services to be relocated near the intersection of Macdonalds Road and Tuggerah Street.
Motorists will be detoured via the Pacific Highway, The Ridgeway, Nexus Way and Macdonalds Road to access Tuggerah Street (see attached map). Transport for NSW has consulted emergency services, Central Coast Council, Busways and other service providers in planning for the temporary closure.
Heavy vehicles and buses will be escorted through the closed road by traffic controllers. Pedestrian access will be maintained during the closure. A temporary 40 km/h reduced speed limit will be in place through the work zone for the safety of motorists and workers.
The changes are required for the safety of all road users and workers as building work continues on the Pacific Highway duplication. Transport for NSW thanks motorists for their patience during this time. For the latest traffic updates download the Live Traffic NSW App, visit livetraffic. com or call 132 701.
