Man charged following a stabbing

A man has been charged following investigations into the stabbing of another man at Woy Woy last month.

Police will allege that the incident occurred at about 3.45am on Saturday, February 22, when a 33-year-old man was found on Ocean Beach Road at Woy Woy suffering a stab wound to his neck.
He was taken to Gosford Hospital where he remained in intensive care as of March 2.
Police from Brisbane Water Police District commenced inquiries culminating in the arrest of a 25-year-old man when he presented himself to Toukley Police Station on Monday, March 2.
He was taken to Wyong Police Station where he was charged with wounding a person with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
The man appeared in Wyong Local Court on the same day where he was refused bail and is due to re-appear at Gosford Local Court on Friday May 1.
