Central Coast Local Health District would like to inform the public of a fake text message being circulated about a ‘free doctor visit’.
Central Coast Local Health District has the following advice for the community:
NSW Health is aware of a text message advising people to contact their local communicable disease control branch directly for a ‘free doctor visit’.
This text message did not originate from NSW Health.
As a result local Public Health Units are now being inundated with unnecessary phone calls by concerned people who have received this text message.
