Residents are invited to have their say on a major upgrade of Del Monte Pl, Copacabana, that is being planned by Central Coast Council.
The $10M upgrade, over a 1,500m section of the road, will include the construction of a new footpath and provide improved access to the Winney Bay Reserve for motorists and pedestrians.
Preparation works for Stage One of the project will involve vegetation removal and relocation of a water main, and are scheduled to begin in April. Road construction is planned for commencement early in the 2020-21 financial year.
Residents can view project information and concept plans and provide feedback on Council’s website. An information session will be held on March 3 at the Copacabana Surf Life Saving Club, with residents invited to drop in at any time for a one on one conversation with Council staff.
This project is funded by the Australian Government through the Urban Congestion Fund.
