Gosford Regional Community Services will host a free suicide prevention awareness presentation at Wyoming Community Centre on September 6.
The presentation is a Living Works SafeTalk program designed to alert community members to the signs that a person may be contemplating suicide.
The program teaches people how to recognise when someone is having suicidal thoughts and to respond in ways that link them with further suicide intervention help. Bookings for the program can be made through Lifeline.
