During the October school holidays, 27 Year 10 and 11 students from MacKillop Catholic College, Warnervale, ventured to the College’s third sister school, Nihon Daiichi Junior School, in Tokyo.
“The fi rst part of the trip included the official school visit to Nihon Daiichi, with a four day home stay experience for students while attending school lessons. “The second part of the trip involved travelling to Kyoto, Hiroshima and Kamakura,” said College Principal, Steve Todd. “Many friendships were formed and strengthened with our Japanese sister school family. “The students were great ambassadors of our school and we were very proud of them,” Todd said.
