A series of colouring and craft classes are coming to northern libraries, as Central Coast Library Services embrace the resurgence of colouring in and other childhood craft activities amongst the adult population.

“Colouring in for adults has become an increasingly popular activity that has been shown to have positive effects on wellbeing,” said Council’s Acting Unit Manager Libraries, Beth Burgess. “Designs and pencils will be provided or you may bring your own. “Supervised children or grandchildren are also welcome.”

Colour Me Calm colouring in sessions will run at The Entrance Library on Tuesdays, October 9 and 23. Two sessions will take place on both days, with the first running from 10 to 11am and the second from 2 to 3pm. Lake Haven Library will run a Mindful Colouring and Mandalas session on Tuesday, October 23, from 10:30am to 12:30pm.
