Students from St Edwards College, East Gosford, raised over $700 for Take 3 for the Sea, at the July 22 Avoca Markets.
“We had a fantastic day at Avoca Beach Markets supporting Take 3 and Plastic Free July” said St Edwards Principal Mark Bonnici.
“Students ran a barbecue and the Take3 Plastic Pollution Maze and helped to raise over $700 for Take3. A massive thank you to Avoca Beachside Markets, Edwards Butchers, Avoca Rugby Club, staff and students for all their support at the event. “Take three pieces of rubbish with you when you leave the beach, waterway or anywhere and you’ve made a difference” Mark Bonnici said.
