Kyle Farrell is bowling for NSW

Local tenpin bowler, Kyle Farrell, received his State Representative Award to recognise his selection to the NSW Cole Cup Ten Pin Bowling team on August 11.

David Mehan, Member for The Entrance, was on hand to present Farrell’s award. Farrell represented NSW in the Cole Cup National Disability Championships at Woodville, South Australia, in June. “I congratulate Kyle on this fi ne achievement. “Representing NSW in any field is something to be very proud of,” said David Mehan.

This was the 30th National Tenpin Bowling Championship for persons with a disability to be held, and Farrell placed sixth. Mehan also praised the efforts of Central Coast Challengers Disabled Tenpin Bowling Leagues’ event organisers, who coordinates a weekly event for disabled bowlers and their families. “I love tenpin bowling,” Farrell said. “I am very grateful for the support I have received from Autism Central Coast,” he said.
