Bays Community Group president, Ms Cathy Gleeson, has told residents that Woy Woy Bay Rd is to be repaired by the end of June.
“I can now provide an update on the scheduled repairs to Woy Woy Bay Rd,” she said.
“I have received further correspondence from Council, after following up with Deputy Mayor Chris Holstein, that work is due to commence shortly.
“I note that Council has been out and identified the sections to be repaired. “Council has also advised that there will be further maintenance work carried out to other sections of Woy Woy Bay Rd at the same time. “This has caused the delays to date. “Completion is now scheduled for June 30.
“My next follow up with Council will be the reduced speed limit for The Bays. “I have raised this issue previously with Council and Deputy Mayor Holstein, and I am continuing to liaise with Council and other relevant authorities to achieve a favourable outcome,” Ms Gleeson said.
