Central Coast Council should leverage off the investment in Gosford Hospital as a teaching hospital, by zoning for student accommodation.
Medical education, particularly nursing, will be a money spinner for the Coast. It may also address our looming crisis in aged care nursing. Sydney accommodation is prohibitive for overseas students. Gosford is affordable, yet still accessible to Sydney. There is no reason why Gosford could not become a medical education research hub of world standing.
