Inquiries are continuing after the death of a motorcyclist at Tuggerah on February 15. Around 8pm, the motorcyclist was travelling north on Gavenlock Rd.
The motorcycle has hit a roundabout near the intersection of Johnson Rd. The rider, a 22-year old man from Mardi, was thrown from the motorcycle. Police provided first aid until the arrival of NSW Ambulance paramedics. According to NSW Police Media, the 22-year-old was taken to John Hunter Hospital, where he later died, but witnesses report that the victim was pronounced dead at the scene prior to being transported.
