The Central Coast Aero Club’s annual Try N Fly Day returns to Warnervale on February 24.
“For the past three years, we’ve held Try N Fly to offer highly discounted flights to aspiring pilots to be,” the Aero Club’s Mr Andrew Smith said. “This year, we are also going to be offering heavily discounted joy flights as well, to those people who prefer to enjoy the scenery without the stress of flying hands on.
“The event is growing, as we now have secured Paul Bennett Air Shows to come along with three display aircraft. “It won’t be an air show as such, as Warnervale Airport doesn’t meet the requirements for air shows, but the aircraft will be doing ‘adventure joy flights’ in conjunction with ours. “We also look like having classic cars on display, as well as industry representatives on hand to discuss aviation opportunities with those who are interested,” Mr Smith said. There will be kids’ entertainment, a photography competition, a coffee cart and a sausage sizzle on the day as well.
