A series of power outages have been rolling across the Central Coast over the last two days during some of the hottest days of summer so far.
The latest outage reported on the Ausgrid website at 4.20pm on Monday is effecting approximately 1300 customers in parts of Ourimbah, Glenning Valley, Palmdale, Berkeley Vale, Fountaindale, Kangy Angy, Holgate and Mangrove Mountain . Power in these areas is expected to be restored by 6.30pm.
Other areas disrupted on Monday were Tuggerawong, Wyongah, Kanwal, Rocky Point, Gorokan and Wyong ramming another 1400 customers according to the Ausgrid warning system.
Yesterday (Sunday) during the intense heatwave that hit the Central Coast power outages were reported in and around Woy Woy, Bateau Bay, Noraville, Narara.
It is unclear what the cause of the latest power outages is as no official word has been given at the time of publishing this article.
