Man stabbed outside Gosford nightclub

A 20-year-old man who stabbed a man outside a Gosford nightclub, faced Gosford Local Court on November 27.
Police will allege the man became involved in a dispute with the victim over a gold chain.
The dispute turned violent and the 20-year-old was made to leave the premises by bouncers.
The court was told the man then left the scene in the direction of the Pacific Hwy, but subsequently returned to the nightclub on Baker St with a broken bottle, and waited for the 21-year-old man he had fought with.
When the 21-year-old exited the venue, the man stabbed him in the forearm with the broken bottle.
The altercation put Baker St on lockdown for two hours with both ends of the street blocked off whilst police attended the scene and began investigations.
The 20-year-old was arrested at the scene and subsequently charged with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
