A report from Infrastructure Australia that looks at preserving land for a high-speed rail corridor between Melbourne and Brisbane has been welcomed by Central Coast Council.
“Council will study the report closely to assess any ramifi cations for planning on the Coast,” a media release said. “The report is timely given Council is already working closely with the Coordinator General for the Central Coast, Ms Lee Shearer, on an infrastructure plan for the Central Coast,” it said.
